St Ann Kite festival comes of age

The annual St Ann Kite Festival, now in its ninth year, has come of age, being rebranded Jamaica International Kite Festival, moving to a new, more spacious venue at Richmond Estate, and securing additional sponsors, including The Gleaner, for the day and night event.
Beenie Man, who has been a staple on the event over the years when the event was held at the Seville Heritage Park, returns along with Shaggy, Chino, I-Octane, Junior Reid, Lust, Christopher Martin and Bescenta for the event.
Also scheduled to perform are Macka Diamond, D'Angel, Freddie McGregor, Laden, George Nooks, Kiprich, Richie Stephens, Anthony Cruz, Charley Black, Khago, QQ, Anthony B, Wasp...
