Formerly the Fisherman’s Inn Dive Resort, Rose’s by the Sea is located five minutes out of Falmouth (pronounced “Fal-mutt” by the locals), the Trelawny Parish capital. It is 22 miles east of Montego Bay on the world-famous Luminous Lagoon. The inn offers 10 simple rooms with small private baths, tile floors, A/C and lovely private verandahs with views of the pool and Oyster Bay. The swimming pool juts out into the waters of the phosphorescent bay which contains high concentrations of bio-luminous micro-organisms that emanate light, appearing to glow a turquoise-green at night.
